Woven in Portugal from 100% Giza Egyptian extra long staple cotton, this bath rug has an approximately 1-inch high pile. Available in a non-slip option, to help the rugs not slide so much on slick flooring. The non-slip backing is a very light silicone spray that is applied at the factory in Portugal, it is NOT a thick rubber backing like many kitchen style rugs are known to have. The non-slip rugs are still machine washable and can be put in the dryer following the manufacturer's care instructions.
